Saw the trailer of Super 8 last time in cinema and thought it must be something exciting, with Spielberg being the producer (not director though). Just saw it last night - more than 1 month later than its original release date in the States - and I must say it's left me disappointed! Basically it's just another alien-goes-wild-when-mistreated-by-humans story, nothing exceptional about it... S pointed out that what the little boy (can't even remember his name!) says to the alien also echoes the situation of his father (who's lost his wife in an accident): 'Bad things happened, but you can still live.'
But honestly, it's about the most predictable film about aliens!
